Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are public
and private training organisations that are registered to provide
Vocational Education and Training and/or assessment services.
Upon applying for an Australian Apprenticeship,
the Australian Apprentice and Employer will be required to select
an RTO. As an Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC), WSROC AusNAC
can assist you with a listing of available RTOs.
RTOs will provide training and assessment services
for your Australian Apprentice. RTOs are funded by the State Government
for New Entrant Trainees and Apprentices. An enrolment fee is applicable
for New Entrant Trainees, Apprentices and Trainee Apprentices (NSW
Only) - there are exemptions to this fee in NSW for some Centrelink
benefit recipients. Speak with your selected RTO regarding the enrolment
fee* and exemptions.
Existing Worker Trainees' training and assessment
is not funded by the State Government and the RTO will discuss a
Fee For Service arrangement with the employer.
